The Institute of Pastoral Counselling aims to keep open a dialogue between the disciplines
of psychology and theology as they are applied in the practice of counselling and
pastoral care. We offer training for counsellors who want to integrate their faith
with their counselling practice; and for ministers who want to enhance their pastoral
practice through engagement with the human sciences.
The Institute of Pastoral Counselling is committed to high quality training and depth
in psychological and theological reflection. Our most recent ventures are our ‘Find
a Therapist’ page, the inception of a College of Pastoral Counsellors and the launch
of our Certificate in Reflective Practice.
